Job Title
Microsoft Power Platform Mentor / Solution Architect – Live Step-by-Step Training
Job Description
I am looking for an experienced Microsoft Power Platform Developer / Solution Architect who can mentor me live while we plan and build a realistic business application step by step.
I am not looking for someone to simply build the application for me. I want someone who can teach me how to think through the solution professionally.
The work will mainly involve:
* Power Apps / Model-Driven Apps
* Dataverse
* Power Automate
* Security roles and permissions
* Solutions and environment configuration
* Error handling and logging
* Testing and documentation
Before implementing each feature, I want us to discuss:
* What is the business requirement?
* What questions should we ask?
* What are the possible solutions?
* What are the pros and cons of each option?
* Which option would you recommend and why?
* How will the solution be maintained or expanded later?
For example, I do not want someone to simply say, “Create this Dataverse table” or “Build this flow.”
I want to understand why we are using that approach, what alternatives exist, and what a professional Power Platform developer would normally consider.
Session Style
Sessions will usually be around 1 hour and live through screen sharing.
Ideally, we will:
1. Discuss the requirement.
2. Brainstorm possible approaches.
3. Decide on the best solution.
4. Implement it together.
5. Test it.
6. Review logging/error handling.
7. Document important technical decisions.
I would prefer to perform much of the implementation myself while you guide me.
I also want you to challenge me with questions such as:
* Why would you choose this approach?
* What other option could we use?
* What happens if the flow fails?
* How should this be secured?
* How would this scale?
* How would you explain this design to another developer or manager?
The exact application will be discussed privately, but it will be similar to an internal business/workflow application using Dataverse, Model-Driven Apps and Power Automate.
Ideal Freelancer
I am looking for someone who is:
* Strong in Power Platform, Dataverse, Model-Driven Apps and Power Automate
* Experienced in designing complete business solutions
* Patient and good at teaching
* Comfortable discussing architecture and pros/cons
* Able to explain why, not only how
* Comfortable doing live mentoring instead of taking the project away and building it alone
When applying, please tell me:
1. Your Power Platform experience.
2. Your experience with Dataverse and Model-Driven Apps.
3. Whether you have mentored developers before.
4. How you would structure a typical 1-hour session.
5. Your hourly rate.
