LinkedIn Research & Data Entry Assistant – 2,000 Profiles
Project Overview

I'm looking for a reliable, detail-oriented freelancer to assist with a project involving approximately 2,000 professional LinkedIn profiles.

The project involves reviewing LinkedIn profiles, researching professional information and entering the details into an Excel spreadsheet that I will provide.

This is not simply a copy-and-paste exercise. Some independent research and thinking outside the box will be required to identify and verify information, particularly where profiles are incomplete.

Scope of Work

For each profile, you will be required to:

Review the individual's LinkedIn profile.
Record their professional experience and employment history.
Capture their education and qualifications.
Research and record their professional registration level and registration number, where available.
Identify their area of specialisation and professional level.
Enter all relevant information into my supplied Excel template.
Identify and flag incomplete profiles, duplicate records and information that cannot be verified.

The spreadsheet will contain specific column headings and coding requirements. Accuracy and consistency are essential.

Deliverables
A completed Excel spreadsheet covering approximately 2,000 profiles.
A brief log of incomplete profiles, duplicates and information that could not be verified.
Daily submission of completed work so I can review and approve the records as the project progresses.

I will provide the spreadsheet template, instructions and examples.

Timeline and Workload
Ideally, the project will be completed within one month.
Target of approximately 100–150 profiles per day.
Full-time or part-time applicants are welcome, provided they can meet the agreed deadlines.
I'd like the successful applicant to start as soon as possible.
Approximately two hours of initial training will be provided.
Required Skills
Excellent attention to detail.
Strong Excel skills.
Experience with online research and data entry.
Ability to review LinkedIn profiles and extract relevant information.
Good written English and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Experience in professional recruitment, healthcare administration or research would be advantageous, but is not essential.

Quality Control

Accuracy is extremely important. All information must be recorded correctly, particularly names, qualifications and registration numbers.

I will review the completed work daily and provide feedback where necessary. The target is for at least 98% of records to meet the agreed quality requirements.

Any errors identified during quality checks will need to be corrected. Where information cannot be verified, it should be clearly flagged rather than guessed.

Payment

Please submit your bid for the full project, including your proposed price and estimated completion time.

I'm happy to agree on milestone payments based on completed and approved batches of work.

Potential for Ongoing Work

This is an initial project, but I'm looking to establish a long-term working relationship with the right person.

If the project goes well, there will be opportunities for ongoing work involving research, database management and other administrative tasks as my business grows.
