Plan Drafting

I’m putting together a set of landscape‐focused architectural plans and need a draughtsperson who can translate my notes and site measurements into clean, accurate 2D drawings. The scope is strictly planting plans—no hardscape detailing or lighting layouts this time—so the job centres on showing plant locations, symbols, labelling, and a clear legend or schedule that makes species counts and sizing easy for contractors to price.

I work in millimetres at 1:100 or 1:200, and prefer DWG files that plot cleanly to PDF. If you’re comfortable in AutoCAD, Vectorworks, or a comparable tool and can organise layers logically, we’ll get along well. Consistent line weights, north arrow, scale bar, and title block are essential; beyond that I’m flexible on your drafting style so long as it’s tidy and readable.

Once engaged I’ll supply the base survey in DWG, plant list in Excel, and any mark‐ups. I’ll review a first pass, mark corrections, and expect a final sheet ready for print.
