I’m building a 2-D pixel-art platformer and now need fresh, lively characters to bring the world to life. The scope covers every on-screen figure: the main protagonist, a line-up of enemies, and a handful of NPCs.

All animation must be classic frame-by-frame so the movement keeps that authentic retro feel. Each character will require a small, consistent set of actions: an idle loop, a full running-and-jumping cycle, and at least one attack sequence that fits their role.

What I’ll look for in your delivery
• Clean, well-organized sprite sheets for every action state
• Palette limited to sensible, game-ready counts (no banding or stray colours)
• Consistent proportions and readability at native resolution
• PNG exports plus the original layered files (Aseprite or PSD preferred)

I’ll share collision box sizes and sample environment tiles once we get started so you can match scale perfectly. If you’re passionate about pixel art and enjoy squeezing personality into a handful of frames, I’d love to see a few examples of similar work and hear how you’d tackle the first hero mock-up.
