The site runs on PHP and now needs a tidy upgrade focused on improving user experience. The work breaks down into two parts: installing a few new plugins and refreshing several key pages so they look cleaner and work faster on both desktop and mobile.
Plugin installations
• Contact-form plugin that collects the usual name, email and message fields plus a file upload option. It must drop submissions straight into our existing MySQL database and trigger a confirmation email.
• Lightweight PHP chatroom so users can talk in real time without leaving the site. Straightforward moderation controls are enough.
• PHP-based music player that lets me upload MP3s and publish simple playlists.
Page redevelopment
need a fresh layout, updated typography and better navigation cues. I am flexible on framework choices as long as the resulting code stays in plain PHP with minimal dependencies.
Site registration flow
Streamline the current sign-up form, keep it on brand, and make sure the new fields integrate with the user table already in place.
Deliverables
1. Fully installed and tested plugins working on the live server
2. Redesigned page templates supplied as PHP/HTML/CSS with any assets included
3. Updated registration script with clear notes on new database fields
4. Short hand-over document so I can maintain everything myself
Please build and test on a staging copy first, then push to production once we have signed off.
