I’m putting together a series of live, one-on-one online lessons that walk me through three connected areas: solid photography techniques, a reliable post-production workflow, and confident editing inside Adobe After Effects. My end goal is to shoot stronger images, move them smoothly into post, and finish engaging motion pieces without feeling lost in the interface.
Here’s how I picture the sessions unfolding: we start with camera craft—exposure, composition, and lighting choices that will pay off in edit—then shift to After Effects where I need step-by-step guidance on keyframing, basic motion graphics, effects, and best-practice export settings. Whenever the project calls for it, we’ll jump into Photoshop for targeted photo-retouching, quick graphic design tasks, and clean layer management so the assets slide back into AE without a hitch.
I learn best when theory is paired with a hands-on mini-project, so each lesson should finish with a small assignment and working files I can practice on. Please record the screenshare so I can revisit the material later. If you already have a structured syllabus, great—otherwise we can build one together during an initial planning call.
By the end I should have:
• A customised cheat-sheet for camera setup and on-set workflow
• Reusable Photoshop actions for retouching and graphic layout
• An After Effects project template illustrating the techniques we covered
• Recorded sessions and short written recaps for each lesson
Let me know your teaching approach and typical availability so we can map out the first week of lessons.
