I am undertaking a PhD study and now need a dedicated research analyst to run both the pilot and the full-scale primary data collection. The project targets academic researchers as respondents and will be carried out entirely through online surveys, so I am looking for someone who is comfortable designing robust instruments that appeal to this audience and who can manage end-to-end digital distribution.
Here is what I have in mind:
• Refine my draft questionnaire for a small pilot, circulate it, then deliver a concise diagnostic report that highlights response rates, item reliability and any wording issues.
• Incorporate the agreed adjustments, launch the full survey, monitor incoming data in real time, and keep me posted on response milestones.
• Export the final dataset (cleaned, coded and ready for analysis) along with a brief methodological note summarising sampling, outreach steps and any limitations encountered.
I already have university ethics clearance; you will simply follow the approved protocol and make sure every respondent receives the consent statement up front. Familiarity with tools such as Qualtrics or Google Forms is helpful, but if you prefer a different online platform let me know—flexibility is fine as long as data security meets standard academic expectations.
If you have a track record of collecting high-quality survey data from scholarly audiences and can start right away, I’d love to hear how you would approach the pilot and timeline.
