Permit Plans: 14×14 Porch

I’m adding a 14 ft × 14 ft covered section onto my existing porch in Gilmer County, Georgia and need permit-ready drawings. You’ll receive the property survey plus a direct link to the county’s current residential construction requirements; the plans must satisfy those specs and the 2021 IRC that the county follows.

Scope of work
• Site plan overlay showing the new porch in relation to lot lines and the existing structure.
• Structural framing layout sized for local loads, called out in detail views and schedules.
• Roof design for a matching metal roof, including pitch, overhangs, fastening and flashing details that tie cleanly into the present porch roof.
• Foundation notes and pier specifications for level ground installation (diameter, depth, rebar, anchor hardware, concrete call-outs).

Please deliver PDF sheets that the Building Department can stamp and, if you work in CAD, the editable source file as well. Turnaround within one week would be ideal, but let me know your realistic timeline. If you’ve produced permit sets for Georgia counties before, especially Gilmer, that experience will be a plus.
