PDFs Into Excel Sheet

I have a collection of PDF and scanned documents that I need distilled into concise, well-written summaries. For each file, read the content, capture the essential points—purpose of the document, any names, key dates, amounts, or figures that stand out—and write a clear summary rather than a full transcription.

All summaries go straight into the Excel spreadsheet I’ll share with you. Each document has its own row; just keep the filename in the first column and your summary in the second so I can easily trace back to the source if required. Accuracy, consistent wording, and correct placement in the sheet are critical because these summaries will feed into a larger reporting workflow.

Acceptance criteria:
• Every provided file appears in the sheet, matched to the correct filename.
• Summaries are concise (one to three sentences) yet complete enough that I no longer need to open the original file to understand its content.
• No spelling errors or missing documents.

Once the sheet is finished and spot-checked for quality, send back the updated Excel file. I’m ready to start as soon as you are and will be available to answer questions along the way.
