PDF to Kindle & Print Book

I already have the full manuscript laid out as a single PDF; what I need now is a polished, reader-friendly version for both Amazon Kindle (reflowable .epub or .kpf) and a print-ready paperback. The task covers everything from recreating the interior design to choosing the right visual elements so the two editions feel consistent yet optimised for their respective formats.

Here’s how I picture the workflow:

• Rebuild the layout from the PDF so text reflows cleanly on Kindle while a parallel fixed layout is prepared for print (bleed, margins, headers/footers, page numbering, etc.).
• Select attractive, highly legible typefaces—I don’t have specific fonts in mind, so I’ll rely on your recommendations that meet KDP licensing requirements.
• Integrate illustrations throughout the book, matching the style and resolution to each platform (300 dpi CMYK for print; web-optimised RGB for Kindle).
• Apply a cohesive colour palette that prints accurately and converts well to grayscale on Kindle e-ink devices.
• Add a fully clickable table of contents, chapter breaks, front and back matter, and any necessary image alt-text for accessibility.
• Provide final deliverables:
– Kindle-ready file (.epub or .kpf) that passes Kindle Previewer validation
– Print-ready PDF (with embedded fonts, correct trim size, bleed, and spine calculation)
– All working files (InDesign, Affinity Publisher, or equivalent) so I can update in the future.

Acceptance criteria: files must upload to KDP without errors, text must render correctly on common Kindle devices and apps, and printed proofs should have no cut-off text or colour shifts.
