PDF Text Transfer to Word

I have a PDF whose text can already be selected and copied, but I need the entire content cleaned up and placed in a single Microsoft Word document. I am not worried about matching the original layout—just keep the text in clear, simple paragraphs with no extra columns, tables, or spacing tricks. Please proof-read as you go so the Word file reads smoothly and is ready for further editing on my side. The final deliverable is one .docx file containing all the text, accurately transcribed and lightly formatted with basic headings where they exist in the source.
