I have a set of PDFs that are actually scanned images containing English text. I need every word lifted out of those images and placed into an editable Microsoft Word file so I can quote and annotate the material for an academic paper.
Accuracy is critical: the transcription must be free of OCR errors, retain original page order, and preserve basic formatting such as headings, paragraph breaks, tables or footnotes that appear in the scans. Feel free to use any reliable OCR solution—Adobe Acrobat, ABBYY FineReader, Tesseract, or your own workflow—as long as the final .docx mirrors the source content faithfully.
Deliverable: one clean, proof-read Word document per PDF provided, ready for academic citation and further editing.
