Seeking PCB Design Archives for AI Training Dataset (Licensing Opportunity)
We are looking for PCB designers, engineering teams, and PCB design companies who have existing archives of PCB projects that they own and may be interested in licensing for AI training and research purposes.
We are NOT looking for new designs or any additional engineering work. We are interested in existing archived projects that are no longer actively used.
Requirements:
Minimum volume: 100+ PCB projects
Editable source files preferred (KiCad, Altium, EasyEDA)
Schematic + PCB layout files preferred
Projects must be your own original work or you must have the legal rights to provide them
Projects must NOT be taken from open-source libraries, GitHub, public repositories, online forums, or any publicly available sources
No client-confidential, NDA-protected, or third-party owned designs
Project types:
We are open to a wide range of PCB designs, including:
Embedded systems
IoT devices
Power electronics
Battery management systems
Motor control
Industrial electronics
Communication boards
Consumer electronics
Other hardware designs
No cleaning, modification, documentation, or reorganization is required. Simply provide the existing project archives.
Compensation will depend on:
Number of projects available
Completeness of source files
Complexity and quality of designs
If you have a personal archive, company archive, or access to a legitimate collection of PCB projects, please contact us with:
Approximate number of projects available
PCB software used
Confirmation that the projects are privately owned and not from public/open-source sources
We are interested in long-term collaboration with reliable contributors and companies
