As our new Payroll Coordinator,you will playan important roleon a team whose work is essential to achieving this goal.
Role
SLRConsultingis currently seeking a full-time payroll coordinator to assist with payroll processes, maintain employee payroll records, validate payroll data, and assist with payroll reporting and compliance activities.
Responsibilities:
Manage full-cycle bi-weekly payroll for salaried and hourly employees
Process multi-state timesheets on a weekly basis and generate related reports
Maintain and update multiple payroll spreadsheets and reports on a weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly basis, or as required
Ensure data integrity within the HRIS (e.g., ADP, Paychex, Workday, etc.) by regularly auditing and updating employee records
Prepare and file year-end forms (e.g., W2s) and ensure all government filings meet statutory deadlines
Manage 401k contributions reconciling them against payroll registers
Serve as one of the primary contacts for payroll inquiries, providing timely responses or directing employees to appropriate resources
Support special payroll and HR projects and initiatives as they arise

Qualifications
2-4 years of experience in a similar role
Demonstrated understanding of US payroll legislation and state employment laws
Experience with ADP payroll systems is an asset
Strong computer skills, specifically in Microsoft Office
Experience with Workday or Deltek Vantagepoint is considered an asset
FCP or CPP Certification preferred
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Experience working part of a Human Resources team is an asset
Post-secondary education in Human Resources or a related field is preferred
