We're seeking a compassionate, detail-orientedClinical Research Patient Phone Recruiterto join our Clinical Research team.In this role,you'llserve as the first point of contact for prospective clinical trial patients, conducting phone-based pre-screening interviews,collectingand documenting medical information, assessing preliminary eligibility, and scheduling qualified patients for screening and consent appointments.
You'llplay an essential role in helping connect patients with research opportunities while ensuring medical information is collected accurately, confidentially, andin accordance withstudy protocols.
What You'll Do:
Conduct telephone pre-screening interviews with prospective clinical research participants that range from healthy volunteers to a wide variety of patient populations
Collect, review, and accurately document medical history, current medications, health conditions, and other study-specific eligibility information.
Assess patients against established study eligibility criteria using approved screening guidelines.
Schedule qualified patients for consent and screening visits with clinical teams.
Update andmaintainpatient records and eligibility status within clinical databases.
Coordinate daily recruiting activities, including outbound calls, inbound inquiries, voicemail management, and text communications.
Support patient outreach initiatives to increase enrollment in clinical research studies running in our Austin & Las Vegas clinics
Collaborate with research coordinators and clinical staff to ensure a seamless patient experience.
Who We're Looking For:
We'relooking for someone who is comfortable:
Discussingmedical history and sensitive health information with patients over the phone.
Asking detailed health screening questions with professionalism, empathy, and confidentiality.
Accurately documenting patient responses whilemaintainingattention to detail.
Explaining clinical research opportunities in a clear and patient-friendly manner
Education and Experience Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
6 months to 1 year of experience in Patient Recruitment or comparable experience in a call center or customer service environment.
Years of experiencerefersto typical years of related experience needed to gain the required knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to perform the essential functions of the job. Years of experience are not to be used as the onlydeterminingfactor inestablishingthe job class or making employment selection decisions.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
Strong customer service and telephone communication skills
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiencywith Microsoft Office applications.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team.
