build a website similar to Outbid.lol, but with addons such as allowing users to post unranked listings. Users can create posts, compete for ranked positions, and claim or take over a position on a public leaderboard.

The idea is to build a competitive ranking and claiming platform.
Here's how I would approach it.
1. Website concept
The website would allow users to:
Create a listing: A user posts something they want to rank.
A User could have no account as like outbid.lol if he only to post a ranked listing. if the user wants to post unranked listings or both, he needs to have an account.
Claim a position: Other users can claim an available ranking position.
Compete for rankings: Users can challenge or outbid the current position holder.
Display a leaderboard: Show who currently holds each position (1st to 20th). Listings below 20th are unranked and positioned by random searching.
Track activity: Show recent claims, challenges, and ranking changes.
Manage profiles: Users have accounts, usernames, and ranking histories.

2. Main website pages

Home button, categories button;
Register button, Login button,

15 or more ranked listing (under :all: category) and randomly drawn listings
and related information, such as privacy

Publish a new ranking list

View positions and claim them

Only post ranked listings, no need an account

A fees table will show
Comparing minimum amount for position and the amount user choosing, if user’s amount greater than the minimum amount for the position, the process will proceed
Use dodopayments.com as payment processor
Should be able to take ApplePay, GooglePay, PayPal, Credit cards, ACH
3. How the ranking system should work

Based on the actual Outbid.lol model, the central mechanic is:
A person submits their website, product, or social media profile.
They choose how much they want to pay.
Higher payments receive higher positions (an increment must be met for a higher position).
Anyone can submit a higher bid to climb the leaderboard.
If someone increases their own bid, they only pay the difference.
Once payment is confirmed, the leaderboard updates automatically.
With more higher bidding, the lowered previous bidding will be kept to lower position in order, for example, with 2 higher biddings added on, the initial 10th bidding will be moved down to 12th position, always above unranked listings

For example:
Rank
Product
Total bid
#1
Product A
$500
#2
Product B
$300
#3
Product C
$150
#4
Product D
$50

If someone bids $550 (suppose the minimum increment is $50), they become #1. Equal bids should be ordered by who paid first. This follows the core ranking model described by Outbid.lol.

If the minimum increment is $20, a user bids $320 will get his listing the #2 position.

A difference from outbid.lol:
A poster can submit an unranked listing at a plain fee, for example $10 per month, or at a discounted fee: $100 for a year, and this fee is nonrefundable.
Unranked listing can’t be upgraded to ranked listing

4. Recommended technology
I'd recommend this stack for a scalable first version:
Component
Technology
Frontend
Next.js
Design
Tailwind CSS
Database
Supabase / PostgreSQL
Authentication
Supabase Auth
Payments
Stripe or another supported payment provider, or use payment processor such as dodopayments.com

Hosting
Vercel
AI features
OpenAI API

Important backend features:
Automatic ranking calculations.
Secure payment verification through webhooks.
Duplicate listing detection.
User account management.
Bid and payment history.
Admin dashboard and moderation.
Important: Never update a ranking just because the user clicked Pay. Only update it after verified payment confirmation.

5. Design direction
I'd suggest a modern dark interface with:
Black or charcoal background.
Purple/blue accent colors.
Large #1 leaderboard spotlight.
Clear bid amounts.
Green claim buttons.
Live ranking updates.
Responsive mobile layout.

How should people claim a ranked position?
1. Ranking / claiming method
Paid bidding — users pay to claim or outbid positions, like Outbid.lol.
Free claiming — users claim available positions without paying.
Both — free listings with paid upgrades to higher positions.

2. What can people post?
Websites, products, and AI tools
Anything — users create their own lists and rankings
People, profiles, and social media accounts
Custom categories and user-created leaderboards

the complete website, including frontend, backend, database, payment integration, and admin and poster dashboard.
