I have an Oromo-language lecture that runs under 30 minutes and I need it transcribed with precise time-stamps throughout. The audio is clear and consists of a single speaker presenting material in a lecture style—no overlapping voices or background chatter.
The final file should:
• Follow a consistent time-code format (hh:mm:ss) at regular intervals so I can reference specific moments quickly.
• Preserve the speaker’s wording accurately—no need for filler words, but please keep all relevant lecture terminology intact.
• Be delivered in either Word or plain-text; if you prefer working in transcription tools such as Express Scribe, oTranscribe, or any equivalent, that’s fine as long as the exported text retains the time codes.
I’m available to answer questions about terminology or pronunciation conventions unique to Oromo. Let me know your estimated turnaround and any previous experience you have with Oromo content, and we can get started right away.
