Flutter web view and Backed Laravel PHP project having Location issues Android's Fused Location Provider combines GPS, Wi-Fi and cellular signals. Why your points suddenly jump away
Suppose the actual location is:
Point 1 → 22m accuracy - Correct
Point 2 → 18m accuracy - Correct
Point 3 → 25m accuracy - Correct
Point 4 → 350m accuracy - Wrong
Point 5 → 600m accuracy - Wrong
If your application blindly stores Point 4 and Point 5, the map will show the person jumping to a completely different location.
This can happen because:
GPS temporarily loses a good satellite fix — particularly indoors, near buildings, under trees, etc.
The phone switches between GPS/Wi-Fi/cell positioning.
Your app uses getLastLocation() or an old cached location. Android specifically notes that getLastLocation() can be outdated; getCurrentLocation() is intended to obtain a fresher fix.
