Expert Needed – Online Data Quantification
I am seeking a qualified researcher to quantify publicly available online references concerning a consumer brand over a multi-year period.
The initial phase of the project is limited to identifying, collecting, organizing, and quantifying publicly available online references from search engines, social media platforms, news articles, blogs, discussion forums, and other relevant online sources.
Applicants should have experience collecting and organizing large amounts of publicly available online data and producing accurate, reproducible quantitative results.
Preferred Qualifications
Advanced degree (Master's or Ph.D.) in Data Science, Statistics, Marketing, Communications, Information Science, Consumer Research, or a related field.
Experience with large-scale online data collection.
Familiarity with APIs, search tools, web scraping, or other data collection methods.
Strong quantitative and statistical background.
Deliverables
The initial project should include:
Total number of publicly available references identified.
A description of the data collection methodology.
The sources searched.
The search terms used.
The time period covered.
A cleaned dataset.
Supporting spreadsheets or databases.
Any scripts or software used so the work can be reproduced.
A second phase may involve categorizing and analyzing the quantified data.
Please Include
Your educational background.
Relevant experience.
Examples of similar projects.
The tools and methodology you would use to collect and quantify publicly available online references.
The initial objective is to accurately identify and quantify the universe of publicly available online references. Interpretation and categorization, if requested, will be performed in a later phase.
