I have a series of non-fiction op-eds that explore management, business strategy and the psychology behind high human performance. I need an editor who can take each draft from rough idea to publication-ready article while maintaining a conversational, engaging tone.
Scope
• First batch: 5 pieces ready for developmental and line edits right away.
• Ongoing flow: about one fresh article every month after that.
Deliverables for every piece
1. A polished, website-ready op-ed (typically 800-1,200 words) returned in MS Word or Google Docs with Track Changes showing all edits.
2. A concise LinkedIn version that keeps the same voice but is trimmed to platform best practices (strong hook, shorter paragraphs, clear CTA).
What I’m looking for
- Developmental guidance on structure, argument strength and logical flow.
- General copy-editing for clarity, grammar and factual consistency.
- Suggestions that heighten reader engagement without losing professional credibility.
- Familiarity with AP or Chicago style, and comfort working in Word/Docs with comments.
When we’re happy with the first five, we simply roll into the monthly cadence. If this friendly yet precise editing approach sounds like your style, let’s talk.
