I regularly need written material converted quickly and accurately from one language into another and would like to build a flexible relationship with a reliable freelance translator. All assignments will be offered on a project-by-project basis, so you can accept only the jobs that match your schedule and language strengths.

What I will send you: the source text in an editable format, a brief on tone and audience, and any reference glossaries or style guides I already have.

What I expect back:
• A clean, fully proofread translation delivered in the same format (or better) as the original
• Preservation of layout, headings and any embedded links or tags
• A short translator’s note highlighting any terms that required interpretation choices

Please tell me:
• Your primary language pair(s) and areas of subject-matter expertise
• Typical turnaround times for 1,000 words of general text
• Preferred translation tools, if any (CAT, memoQ, Trados, etc.)
