On-Site Bengali Medical Interpreter

Our clinic needs a reliable Bengali ⇆ English interpreter who can come in person whenever a Bengali-speaking patient is booked. The assignments are strictly on-demand; some weeks you may get several calls, other weeks none. You will be paid $20 per hour with a one-hour minimum each time you are called.

All sessions happen during patient consultations, so you must already be comfortable with medical terminology and able to relay information accurately, neutrally, and confidentially in compliance with HIPAA. Most appointments last 15–45 minutes, and I aim to give at least 24 hours’ notice—although occasional same-day requests do occur.

If you have prior in-person medical interpreting experience and can reach our facility quickly, I’d love to hear from you. Please include:
• A brief summary of similar assignments you have handled
• The days and times you are generally available for call-ins

If in Person not possible can be done virtually.
Clear, accurate, and culturally sensitive interpretation during each scheduled patient consultation will be the sole deliverable.
