Offline Android Banking Prototype

I need a lightweight Android app that mimics a modern mobile-banking experience but works fully offline. The prototype will use completely fictional branding and dummy data; nothing will ever touch a real account or network.

Core screens
• Dashboard: shows a single editable “Account Balance”. Tapping the figure should open a simple dialog or field where I can overwrite the number on the fly.
• Transaction History: a scrollable list that I can populate, edit, or delete items manually (deposits, withdrawals, transfers—whatever labels I type in). The changes should persist locally so I can close and reopen the app during demos without losing them.

Key points
– All data stored only on-device (SQLite, Room, or even a JSON file—your call).
– No authentication, API calls, or real payment logic. Pure UI/UX.
– Clean, professional look with placeholder logo, colours, and fonts that I can swap quickly in code.

Deliverables
1. Installable APK for quick demonstrations
2. Full, well-commented Android Studio project
3. One-page read-me explaining how to change the branding, edit initial dummy data, and recompile

If you have a preferred UI toolkit (Jetpack Compose or XML layouts), mention it when you apply. I’m aiming for a smooth, polished feel even though it’s only a mock-up, so attention to micro-interactions and typography matters.
