NZ Accounting Process Support

I need an experienced accountant or bookkeeper to keep my New Zealand-based business fully up to date each month. The core of the work is the month-end close: preparing management reports, posting final journals, and reconciling several bank and credit-card accounts. Alongside that you will maintain day-to-day control of accounts payable and receivable, calculate and lodge GST, and confirm that everything we do lines up with current NZ ethical and professional standards.

All of this is done on a proprietary cloud platform—neither Xero nor MYOB—so you will need to pick up a new system quickly and work accurately from day one. When you respond, please focus on the similar New Zealand work you have completed and the results you achieved.

Deliverables
• Complete month-end report pack, balanced to the ledger
• Fully reconciled bank, credit-card, and clearing accounts
• Updated A/P and A/R ledgers with current aging summaries
• GST return prepared and ready for filing
• Brief compliance memo confirming adherence to NZ ethics guidelines

Acceptance criteria: zero unreconciled differences, reports agree to trial balance, and GST figures trace back to source transactions.
