NWC Excel Sales Dashboard Build

I need a polished, easy-to-update sales tracking dashboard built entirely in Microsoft Excel for our company, NWC. The goal is to give managers a single page where they can instantly see how we are performing and, with a couple of clicks, drill down into the underlying numbers.

Here is the workflow I have in mind:

I will supply you with our raw sales export (CSV / Excel). You will clean and structure that data—using Power Query or traditional methods—so it refreshes automatically whenever we paste in a new file. From there, you will design an interactive dashboard that pulls from those queries or pivot tables. I want the most relevant metrics front and center (total sales, revenue trends, top products, regional or rep performance), visualized through clear charts, dynamic tables and traffic-light-style KPI indicators. Slicers or drop-downs should let users filter by date, product line and sales territory without touching the back-end sheets.

Because the team’s Excel skills vary, everything on the front end needs to be protected against accidental edits, while the data refresh should remain a simple, one-button process. Any VBA you add must be well commented; if you can accomplish the same result with native Excel features, even better.

Deliverables
• A single .xlsx (or .xlsm) file that includes:
– Data import/transform steps
– The interactive dashboard page
– Supporting calculations hidden or grouped neatly
• A brief PDF or on-sheet guide explaining how to refresh and extend the model

Acceptance criteria
• Dashboard loads with no error prompts when opened in Office 365
• Filters update all visuals instantly
• Refresh process runs in under one minute on a standard laptop
