Nutraceutical Consultant – White-Label Supplement Sourcing, Sampling & UK Compliance
​Project Overview:
We are launching a premium UK performance nutrition and wellness line. To optimize our initial launch timeline and capital efficiency, we are leveraging high-grade white-label / off-the-shelf base formulations from established UK/EU manufacturers.
​We are looking for an experienced Nutraceutical Specialist / Food Scientist to audit white-label supplier catalogs, guide sample testing for flavor/texture, and ensure GB regulatory compliance.
​Key Responsibilities:
​White-Label Supplier Sourcing: Identify and introduce 3–4 vetted UK/EU contract manufacturers (CMOs) offering off-the-shelf bases for Whey Isolate Protein, Marine Collagen, and Pectin Gummies with low-to-medium MOQs (500–1,000 units).
​Sample Evaluation & Flavor Optimization: Work with suppliers and flavor houses to review benchtop/off-the-shelf samples, ensuring premium solubility, mouthfeel, and clean natural flavor profiles.
​UK Compliance Audit: Cross-reference active ingredient dosages in factory stock formulas against the Great Britain Nutrition and Health Claims Register (GB NHCR) and ASA marketing rules.
​Supplier Selection Support: Help evaluate factory certifications (ISO 22000, BRCGS, GMP) and negotiate initial production parameters.
​Required Qualifications:
​Direct experience working with UK/EU white-label and private-label supplement manufacturers.
​Deep knowledge of UK food law, GB NHCR health claims, and FIC labeling requirements.
​Strong background in food science, nutritional formulation, or organoleptic testing.
