Title: Recruit Native Greek Speakers & Run Spontaneous Conversation Recording Sessions (20 per week)
Description:
Kaiyisa is looking for a studio or an experienced team in Greece to recruit participants and run recording sessions of natural, unscripted conversations between two native Greek speakers. All recordings are made on a dedicated app that we provide.
Scope of work
Recruit and schedule pairs of native Greek speakers (adults 18+)
Brief participants before each session (topics, rules, excluded subjects)
Supervise sessions and make sure the recording conditions are met
Deliver approximately 20 one-hour recordings per week
Trial first
We start with 1 trial recording to check quality and workflow. After it is approved, we continue with the full weekly volume.
Session format
1 hour per session, split into two parts:
Part 1: 30 minutes of continuous conversation
Part 2: 30 minutes of continuous conversation on a different topic
The pause between parts is handled automatically by the app
No interruptions within each 30-minute block
Content requirements
No script. Participants choose their own topics, and the conversation must sound natural and spontaneous.
Mainly Greek, with about 15% English code-switching (short, natural words and phrases like “ok”, “got it”, “let me see”, “let’s go”)
Excluded topics: politics and religion. Medical problems, personal finances and private details about third parties should also be avoided.
No personal information (full names, addresses, phone numbers, workplaces)
No reading from notes or devices, and no long silences (over 5 seconds)
A list of suggested topics will be provided (daily life, travel, entertainment, technology and work, light hypotheticals)
Participants
Two native Greek speakers per session, adults only
Overall gender balance of 1:1 (male/female) across the project
No age or accent/dialect restrictions
Friends or family pairs are welcome, but participants don’t have to know each other
Consent forms will be provided once the agreement is settled
Recording setup
Quiet space with no background noise
Participants use their own devices, or the studio supplies them
Format, naming and quality checks are handled automatically by the app, so no extra QA or formatting is needed
Payment
$50 per person, per recording hour (2 participants = $100 per one-hour session)
Recordings count only after they pass the app’s automatic acceptance criteria
Timeline: Starting as soon as possible, with an expected pace of 20 recordings per week
Ideal candidate
Based in Greece, with access to native Greek speakers
Experience in recruiting participants and organizing recording sessions (speech data, research, or audio production is a plus)
Reliable, organized, and able to keep a steady weekly pace
