I’m building PayWave Namibia, a fully-featured mobile money and community-fundraising platform inspired by Cash App but purpose-built for our local market and regulatory landscape. The initial release must let users send and receive money, pay merchants via QR, and launch or contribute to fundraising campaigns, all wrapped in a sleek PayWave-branded experience.
From day one the architecture has to revolve around compliance. Biometric authentication will be the primary sign-in method, backed by a configurable rules engine that enforces KYC, AML/CFT, sanctions screening, transaction limits and audit logging. Please design this engine so limits and policies can be updated from an admin dashboard without code changes; Namibia’s legal thresholds are still being finalised with the Bank of Namibia.

• KYC/AML services for real-time identity verification
• Cross-border rails to accept approved corridors (South Africa, UK, USA and others as licensed)
• Local and international payment gateways for card and bank transfers
Scope of work
• Native Android and iOS apps
• Secure backend with REST/GraphQL API
• Merchant web portal and consumer webview support
• Admin & compliance dashboard with real-time risk monitoring
• Database design, cloud infrastructure, CI/CD and automated testing
• End-to-end security testing and hardening
• Technical documentation and full IP/source-code hand-over
