n8n Automations for GoHighLevel

I’m streamlining our email-marketing pipeline inside GoHighLevel and want everything orchestrated through n8n, with Zapier handling any auxiliary apps that fall outside of GoHighLevel’s native API. Your job is to design, build and document these workflows so they run 24/7 without babysitting.

You’ll be working directly with the GoHighLevel API to grab triggers such as new lead events, tag changes or scheduled broadcasts, then pushing those into n8n where the real logic lives—branching, conditional routing, error handling and detailed logging. Whenever we hit an edge case that’s faster to solve with Zapier, I need you to spin up the Zapier step and loop it back into n8n so the whole process still feels like a single flow for me.

The core outcome I’m after is hands-off email marketing: every contact should receive the right message at the right time, with status updates written back to GoHighLevel automatically. As the system grows, I may expand the flows to include Claude AI for copy tweaks or smart replies, so structuring the automations for easy add-ons is a plus.

Deliverables
• Fully tested n8n workflow exports (.json) connecting GoHighLevel and Zapier
• Clear, inline comments plus a short loom video walkthrough
• One-page deployment guide covering environment variables, webhooks and cron scheduling

Acceptance criteria
• Zero failed executions across a 7-day test window
• All email-marketing actions reflect in GoHighLevel within 60 seconds
• Error logs route to my Slack channel with actionable messages
