I want a clean, high-performance MySQL environment dedicated to financial data analysis. The job covers installing MySQL on a fresh Linux server (or tuning an existing instance), designing the schema for typical financial records—transactions, balances, historical rates—then loading an initial sample set so I can immediately begin running queries in SQL Workbench and feeding results to my BI tool.
Key deliverables:
• Secure installation and configuration of the latest stable MySQL release, including user roles and encrypted connections.
• A normalized schema optimised for large-volume financial datasets, complete with indexes and partitioning where it matters.
• Import scripts or ETL steps (CSV or API) for my first batch of data.
• Two or three sample analytical queries that demonstrate performance and accuracy.
• Brief README or commented SQL outlining how to extend the schema and back up the database.
Because this is for financial data, accuracy and data integrity come first; speed is a close second. The whole setup is needed ASAP, so please factor rapid delivery into your approach.
