I have a steady stream of legal documents that must move flawlessly between English and three target languages—Spanish, Chinese, and French. Each file has to keep its legal intent intact while remaining clear and plain enough for non-lawyers to read without confusion.
Your task is to translate in both directions (to English and from English), preserve every clause and citation exactly as written, and deliver polished, well-formatted files ready for filing or publication. Consistency is paramount, so please use an established CAT tool such as Trados, MemoQ, or an equivalent to maintain terminology throughout the project.
Because these are legal texts, confidentiality is non-negotiable; I will supply an NDA before sharing the first document. Punctuality matters just as much as accuracy, so let me know the realistic turnaround you can maintain per 1,000 words.
Deliverables:
• Final translation in the original file format (usually Word or PDF)
• Bilingual reference file or TMX for my records
• One round of revisions, returned within 24 hours of feedback
