I want to replicate a Telegram bot I use that lets people pick an email template and fire it off—up to 50 messages per sender account in a 24-hour window. I’ll share the original bot and a short demo video so you will see the exact flow and interface I expect.
Core workflow
• User chooses an HTML or plain-text template, edits merge fields, and hits send.
• The bot tracks the quota and blocks anything above 50 emails per day for that specific user.
• A simple stats command returns how many emails are left for the day.
• New templates can be uploaded or edited without touching the codebase.
Technical freedom
Language is wide open: Python, Node.js, or anything you prefer—as long as the setup is straightforward and the code is readable. For delivery I’m undecided between Gmail, Outlook, or a dedicated SMTP (SendGrid, AWS SES, Mailgun, etc.); I’ll rely on your recommendation for a provider that minimises bans and landing in spam.
Deliverables
1. Full source code with clear comments.
2. Dockerfile or step-by-step setup notes for server deployment.
3. Brief user guide explaining how to add templates and monitor quotas.
4. A recorded test run showing the 50-email limit in action.
Acceptance criteria
• Sends both HTML and text emails successfully.
• Quota resets every 24 hours and is enforced per user.
• Template management works through simple commands or an admin panel.
• No hard-coded credentials; all secrets pulled from env variables or a config file.
• Passes a live test on the chosen mail provider without triggering a block.
Share your proposed stack and email provider in your first message so we can lock that in and get moving quickly.
