Professional Logo Vectorization & Complete Brand File Package — SPU Slopitch United
Project Description
I am looking for an experienced graphic designer/vector artist and embroidery digitizer to take our existing SPU Slopitch United logo and turn it into a complete, professional, production-ready brand asset package.
I will provide:
1. The official SPU logo artwork
2. Our SPU branding guidelines
The goal is to create a clean, professionally built master file that we can use across apparel, jerseys, embroidery, merchandise, print, marketing, websites and social media.
This is not a logo redesign project. I already have the logo I want.
The designer's job is to professionally recreate and organize the existing artwork as editable vector files while maintaining the exact look and proportions of the approved logo.
VERY IMPORTANT — LOGO REQUIREMENTS
The supplied SPU logo is the official master artwork.
The default wording is:
SPU
SLOPITCH UNITED
FUND BUILD GROW
The default version uses NO COMMAS in “FUND BUILD GROW.”
The logo must not be redesigned, restyled or altered.
However, I specifically need the master artwork to remain editable, because we may occasionally change the secondary wording for:
- tournaments
- events
- special jerseys
- campaigns
- departments
- programs
- merchandise
- special editions
For example, we may replace “FUND BUILD GROW” with another approved phrase in the future.
The editable master must allow us to make those wording changes while keeping the SPU branding, proportions, typography hierarchy, shield, maple leaf, baseball stitching, borders and overall structure consistent.
Please keep the original master artwork untouched and save any wording variations as separate files.
REQUIRED DELIVERABLES
1. Editable Master Artwork
Please provide:
- AI — Adobe Illustrator
- EPS — Editable Vector
- SVG — Clean Scalable Vector
- PDF — Print-Ready Vector
I need both:
Editable master files
and
Outlined/production-ready files
The vector artwork must be true vector, not an embedded raster image.
2. Digital Files
Please provide:
- High-resolution PNG with transparent background
- High-resolution JPG
- Large master exports suitable for marketing and digital use
Please include versions appropriate for both light and dark backgrounds.
3. APPROVED LOGO VARIATIONS
Please create professionally prepared versions of the logo including:
- Master version
- Black version
- White/reversed version
- One-colour version
- Approved gray/silver version
- Transparent-background versions
These should all maintain the same logo artwork and proportions.
4. EMBROIDERY DIGITIZATION
I also require a professionally digitized embroidery version.
Please provide:
- DST embroidery file
- Stitch count
- Finished embroidery dimensions
- Recommended backing/stabilizer
- Recommended hoop size
- Thread manufacturer/brand
- Thread colour numbers
- Any important stitch-density or production notes
The DST file should be professionally digitized specifically for embroidery, not simply auto-converted from the vector file.
The embroidery should reproduce the logo as cleanly and accurately as possible while preserving the important details.
A sew-out/sample proof or production preview is strongly preferred so we can verify lettering, borders, small details and stitch density before final production.
5. APPAREL & MERCHANDISE
The artwork must be suitable for professional production on:
- Softball/slo-pitch jerseys
- Umpire uniforms
- Shirts
- Jackets
- Hats
- Hoodies
- Merchandise
- Promotional products
The files should be usable for:
- Sublimation
- Screen printing
- Heat transfer
- Vinyl
- Embroidery
- Promotional printing
Please provide artwork at appropriate production dimensions and with clean transparent backgrounds where required.
6. DIGITAL & MARKETING USE
The final artwork will also be used for:
- Facebook
- Instagram
- TikTok
- Websites
- Digital advertising
- Marketing materials
- Presentations
- Promotional graphics
Please supply large, high-resolution PNG and JPG files suitable for these applications.
7. COLOUR SPECIFICATIONS
Please provide documented colour specifications for the approved SPU palette, including:
- HEX
- RGB
- CMYK
- Pantone/PMS where appropriate
- Embroidery thread brand and colour numbers
Our core colours are:
Black
Dark Gray
Silver/Gray
Light Gray
White
No unapproved colours should be introduced.
8. FILE ORGANIZATION
Please organize the final package in clearly labelled folders:

9. MASTER FILE REQUIREMENTS
The main Illustrator master should be professionally organized and clearly labelled.
Where practical, please use organized layers for:
- SPU lettering
- Shield/crest
- Maple leaf
- Baseball stitching
- Borders
- Divider lines
- Secondary wording
- Colour elements
The secondary wording needs to remain editable so authorized wording changes can be made in the future.
Please do not flatten everything into one image.
10. QUALITY CONTROL
Before delivering the final package, please verify:
- The logo is consistent across all formats
- “FUND BUILD GROW” is spelled correctly
- There are NO commas in the default version
- No unauthorized colours have been added
- Logo proportions have not been changed
- Vector files contain true vector artwork
- PNG files have clean transparent backgrounds
- PDF files are print-ready
- SVG files are clean and scalable
- Embroidery has been properly digitized
- DST file has been reviewed/tested
- Colour specifications are documented
- Editable master files are included
- The original master version remains untouched
IDEAL FREELANCER
I am looking for someone with proven experience in professional vector artwork and apparel production.
Experience with any of the following is preferred:

- Sports/apparel graphics
- Sublimation artwork
- Screen printing
- Merchandise production
Attention to detail is extremely important.
This logo will be used as an official brand asset, so accuracy and consistency matter more than creative reinterpretation.

I will provide the freelancer with:

- Any additional references needed for production

Final Deliverable
The completed project should be delivered as one organized ZIP package containing all final editable, vector, print, digital, apparel and embroidery files.
The end result should be a complete SPU brand asset package that I can hand directly to apparel manufacturers, embroidery companies, printers, designers and marketing teams without needing the logo rebuilt again
