Monthly Sales Bar Chart Dashboard

I’m looking to turn a raw Excel sheet of monthly sales figures into a clean, presentation-ready dashboard. The core of the job is a set of bar charts that instantly show how each month performed, but I’d also like you to go a step further by extracting a clear trend line and producing a short-term sales forecast directly inside the workbook.

Please structure everything in a single, well-organized Excel file: one tab for the data (kept intact), one for the visualizations, and—if you prefer—a hidden helper tab for any formulas, pivot tables, or Power Query steps. Feel free to use native Excel chart tools, dynamic arrays, or the built-in FORECAST functions; whatever gives an accurate and professional result without external add-ins.

Acceptance criteria
• Bar charts display every month’s sales clearly, with proper labeling and consistent formatting.
• A trend analysis is visible either as a secondary line overlay or in a concise narrative box beside the chart.
• A forward projection (next three to six months) is calculated and visualized, with the underlying method briefly documented in-workbook so anyone can audit the logic.
• File opens error-free in the current desktop version of Excel on Windows.

If something is unclear just flag it early—I’d rather refine the brief than redo the charts later.
