Project Title
Modular Isometric/2.5D Vector Illustrations of UK House Types, Multi-Storey Extensions, and Loft Conversions
Project Overview
We are a UK construction company building an interactive website configurator. Users will select a base house type and toggle various home improvements to visualize their options.
Because these assets function as an interactive stack, every single illustration must share the exact same isometric perspective angle, scale, and lighting orientation. Extension and loft layers must perfectly align ("snap") onto the base houses without gaps or line-weight mismatches.
Detailed Asset & Layer Requirements
1. Base House Types (4 Assets)
• Detached House: Standard 2-storey modern/suburban detached layout.
• Semi-Detached House: Standard 2-storey UK suburban semi.
• Terraced House: Traditional Victorian style featuring a rear outrigger / closet wing profile.
• Bungalow: Single-storey detached residential footprint.
2. Terraced & Semi-Detached Extensions (4 Assets)
• Side Return Extension: Filling the narrow alleyway alongside the Victorian outrigger.
• Infill Extension: Small courtyard/gap closure.
• Rear Extension: Full-width single-storey extension across the back.
• Wraparound Extension: L-shaped single-storey combining side return and rear footprint.
3. Premium Detached Extensions (4 Assets - New)
• Two-Storey Side Extension: Double-height addition extending the side profile of the house.
• Side and Rear Extension: Single-storey wrap extending along both the side and back.
• Two-Storey Side + Single-Storey Rear Extension: A combined asset showing a double-height side addition paired with a single-storey rear extension.
• Two-Storey Rear Extension: Double-height extension directly off the back of the property.
4. Bungalow Specific Modifications (3 Assets - New)
• Single-Storey Rear Extension: Deep rear extension maximizing ground floor footprint.
• Dormer Conversion: Transforming the bungalow roofline with a large box-dormer to show a 1.5-storey transition.
• Roof Uplift / Roof Replacement Conversion: A full structural "up-lift" conversion where the pitch is raised, effectively transforming the single-storey bungalow into a full 2-storey house.
5. Loft Conversion Overlays (4 Assets)
• Velux / Rooflight Conversion: Standard roofline with flush-fitting roof windows.
• Dormer Loft Conversion: Flat-roofed projection out of the rear slope of the main roof.
• L-Shaped Dormer Conversion: Popular for terraces; a massive loft extension extending over both the main roof slope and the rear outrigger.
• Mansard Conversion: Steeply sloped, flat-topped structural roof profile typical for London properties.
6. UK Market "Bonus" Ideas (Optional/Add-ons)
• Detached Garden Room / Pod: A modern, timber-clad external home office placed in the rear garden area.
• Material Toggles: Separate transparent overlay layers for the extension finishes so users can toggle between Red Brick, White Render, and Modern Charcoal Timber Cladding/Zinc.
Technical Deliverables
• Format: Fully layered vector source files (AI or SVG) with impeccable layer naming conventions.
• Style: Clean, professional architectural illustration. We require sharp lines and modern textures, avoiding cartoonish styles or thick outlines.
• Alignment: All assets must be delivered pre-aligned to a master grid so they overlay perfectly when rendered by a web developer via CSS/JS.
