I have a ten-year-old TV spot sitting in its original .MOV master (plus an earlier MOC copy) and the separate voice-over track. The piece still works, but a few on-screen elements are out of date:
• “Special TV Offer” needs to read simply “Special Offer”
• the “call 800---” line disappears completely
• the website shown at the end must be swapped for the new URL
• a handful of other minor text tweaks that I’ll detail once you’re in the project
The audio bed and visuals stay intact; this is strictly a clean text replacement job. Because the graphics are baked into the footage, the edit will likely require AI-assisted video tools (Runway, Topaz, Adobe’s Generative Fill, or your preferred solution) to paint out the old lettering and blend the new type seamlessly.
Deliverables
1. Broadcast-ready 1920×1080 render (ProRes or high-bitrate MP4) with updated graphics and perfectly synced VO.
2. An editable project file showing the layers/masks you used, so future tweaks are straightforward.
3. A short before-and-after clip (5–10 s) for sign-off.
Quality check: no visible remnants of the original text, colours and grain match surrounding frames, VO timing untouched.
