Modern Somali Shilling Banknote Concept

I need a fresh, contemporary concept for a Somali Shilling banknote that feels unmistakably Somali yet forward-looking. The brief is deliberately open: you can draw on historical figures, iconic landscapes, cultural symbols or an abstract approach—whatever best communicates national pride in a modern aesthetic. Color palette, level of detail and visual style are all up for discussion; surprise me with bold colour blocking, refined minimalism, or intricate engraving-inspired line work if that tells the story most powerfully.

The final artwork should be production-ready, provided as layered vector or high-resolution PSD/AI files so security elements, typography and colours remain editable. I’ll also need a short rationale explaining the design choices and how each side of the note works together.
