Modern Retail Shops & Basements Design

I am planning a street-front development that will house five side-by-side retail shops, all finished in a clean, modern/contemporary style. Directly beneath this row I need three full basement levels stacked below grade. The ground-floor shops must read as inviting storefronts with generous, floor-to-ceiling display windows that maximise visibility from the road, while the basements must tie seamlessly into the overall structural grid and circulation.

Key points you should factor into the concept:

• Ground level: five equal-width retail units opening onto the main road, each with its own entrance and expansive glazing for merchandise display.
• Basements B1–B3: aligned under the footprint of the shops; intended for parking, storage or services, so clear spans and efficient ramp or lift access are essential.
• Consistent modern façade language, durable materials, and a layout that can be easily adapted by future tenants.
• Compliance with local building codes, fire-escape distances and accessibility requirements for both the retail floor and basement levels.

Deliverables I will need from you:
1. Site plan, floor plans, reflected ceiling plans and sections for all four levels (ground + three basements) in DWG/PDF.
2. At least two façade elevations highlighting the large display windows and overall material palette.
3. 3D massing model or renders (Revit, SketchUp or similar) that convey the modern look and how daylight interacts with the glazing.
4. Basic structural layout showing column grids, ramp slopes and stair/lift cores so that an engineer can build on it.

I will review the work against accuracy of dimensions, clarity of circulation, façade aesthetics and proper integration between shop floors and basements. If you are comfortable working in AutoCAD, Revit, or comparable BIM tools and can turn around clear, build-ready drawings, I’m ready to get started right away.
