I’m looking to have a mobile application built that lets people communicate easily through both one-to-one text conversations and larger group or community chats. The core of the project is real-time messaging that feels as fast and reliable as today’s leading chat platforms, wrapped in a clean, intuitive interface that works on iOS and Android.
Key pieces I need developed include:
• Secure sign-up and login (email, phone, or social auth—whichever you prefer to implement).
• A contact or search flow so users can find each other and start individual chats.
• Group creation and management tools that allow any member with permission to add participants, set a name or avatar, and mute or leave the chat.
• Real-time text delivery with typing indicators, read receipts, push notifications, and an offline cache so messages appear the moment connectivity returns.
• An admin panel or lightweight backend dashboard where I can monitor usage, manage reported content, and run simple analytics.
I’m open to your recommended stack; Firebase, Supabase, or a Node.js + WebSocket solution are all fine if they keep the experience snappy and scalable. UI design can follow native guidelines or Flutter / React Native components—whatever you’re fastest with—so long as it feels modern and is easy for a non-technical user to navigate.
Final deliverables: the complete source code, build instructions, and a brief hand-off session showing me how to deploy future updates.
If this sounds like a build you can knock out efficiently, let’s talk through your timeline and any additional features you think would add value.
