I’m launching a new online store for physical products and need a full-stack developer who can take the project from concept to live deployment. The site has to be mobile-first—fast, intuitive, and fully responsive—so shoppers on any device enjoy the same smooth experience.
Core requirements
• End-to-end e-commerce functionality: product listing, cart, checkout, order confirmation, and admin dashboard
• Built-in customer reviews on each product page to build trust and boost conversions
• Secure PayPal payment gateway integration, tested in both sandbox and live modes
• Modern tech stack: feel free to recommend React, Next.js, Vue, or similar on the front end, and a robust back-end solution (Node, Django, Laravel, etc.) as long as performance and scalability are prioritized
• Clean database schema for products, orders, users, and review data
• SEO-friendly routing, schema markup, and blazing-fast load times (Core Web Vitals in the green)
I’m currently focused on the essentials above; features like advanced product categories or inventory tracking can be staged for a later phase, so structure the codebase to accommodate future modules without major refactoring.
Acceptance criteria
1. Responsive layout passes Google’s Mobile-Friendly Test.
2. Checkout flow processes live PayPal payments successfully and records orders in the database.
3. Authenticated users can leave, edit, and delete reviews, visible instantly on the product page.
4. Lighthouse performance score ≥ 90 on mobile for the home, category, and product pages.
5. Code is pushed to a private Git repo with clear commit history and a concise README for local setup and deployment.
I’ll provide brand guidelines, product data, and hosting credentials once we agree on the stack. Let me know which technologies you’d choose, any similar builds you’ve completed, and a realistic timeline to move from wireframes to launch.
