Mobile App UI & Backend Update

An existing mobile application runs on both iOS and Android; the core codebase is already stable, but the Android build now needs focused improvements. The upcoming sprint centres on two areas:

• User Interface – several screens require a visual refresh to match a new style guide I will supply. Colours, typography and component spacing must mirror the designs precisely while preserving current navigation flows.

• Backend Functionality – some API calls need optimisation and a few data-handling classes demand refactoring for better performance and cleaner error management. All logic changes must compile cleanly and leave the iOS build unaffected.

Source files, current assets and access to a staging backend will be shared at project start. Updated code should ship in a branch that builds successfully, plus an installable APK for review. Work is complete when the redesigned UI renders pixel-perfect on a range of Android devices and the revised backend passes my functional tests without introducing new bugs.
