I’m ready to launch a market-test version of a lightweight video platform and need a developer who can move fast, write clean code, and keep the scope laser-focused on core functionality.
What I need built
• Android MVP (single APK) with a modern, scrollable video feed, full-screen playback, and a straightforward upload screen that feels as familiar as YouTube’s basic flow.
• A minimal web-based admin panel where I can review, approve, or remove user-generated videos.
• All required backend API hooks wired in for video data, user actions, and moderation workflows.
• Complete source code, project files, and build instructions so the app can be recompiled or extended without hand-holding.
Why this matters
This first release is strictly for validation: I’ll be putting it in front of early adopters, gathering metrics, and deciding what features survive to v2. If you deliver a stable, polished MVP on schedule, I intend to keep you on as lead developer with a revenue-share arrangement once the platform starts earning.
Acceptance criteria
1. APK installs and streams videos smoothly on standard Android 10+ devices.
2. Uploads succeed on common mobile networks and appear in the admin panel within seconds.
3. Admin actions (approve, reject, delete) propagate immediately to the app feed.
4. No show-stopping crashes during a 48-hour test run with at least 100 sample videos.
If this sounds like a build you can knock out efficiently without bloat or unnecessary dependencies, let’s talk timelines and milestones.
