MLM eCommerce with Inventory Control

I’m building a hybrid MLM-style web shop that focuses first on smooth physical-product sales and real-time stock tracking. The storefront has to feel like any modern eCommerce site—searchable catalogue, fast cart, secure checkout—while behind the scenes it must still respect a multi-level commission structure for distributors.

Core requirement: an inventory module that always knows how many units are on hand, flags low-stock items, and syncs every sale instantly. Only stock tracking is mandatory right now; automated reordering or batch/expiry handling can remain optional so the codebase should leave room to bolt those on later without a full rewrite.

High-level scope
• Responsive customer-facing shop for tangible goods
• Admin panel showing sales, current inventory, and distributor commissions
• Simple MLM tree management (add/edit members, assign levels, view payouts)
• Role-based dashboards for admins, distributors, and end buyers
• Clean API or webhooks so I can push orders to my shipping provider

Acceptance criteria
• Adding a product, completing a purchase, and issuing a refund must all update stock counts instantly and accurately.
• A distributor should see personal sales and earned commissions reflected in real time after checkout.
• Code and database schema are documented well enough for another developer to extend with automated reordering later.
