I need a seasoned heavy-equipment operator who can alternate seamlessly between an articulated dump truck and a hydraulic excavator on an active mining site. The assignment centres on overburden removal, ore extraction support and general material handling, so confidence in both machines is essential.
Key skill required
• High-precision earthmoving – you should be able to cut, shape and load to tight tolerances without constant grade-checker assistance.
Day-to-day you’ll dig, load and haul while keeping cycle times low and fuel use sensible. A solid grasp of basic preventative checks is welcome, but the main focus is your ability to place every bucket and every truck load exactly where it needs to go, first time.
Mine-site safety inductions, current operator tickets and medical clearance will be verified before you start. Let me know your availability, the makes/models you’ve run most recently and any production targets you’ve helped hit so I can line up an on-site assessment.
