Minimalist Red-Black Logo Design

I’m refreshing my website and need a clean, minimalist logo built around a red-and-black palette. The mark should pair the site name with a simple icon so the brand is instantly recognizable even when the text is removed.

Brand recognition is the only goal here, so the design must be memorable at a glance, scale well from favicon to billboard, and remain timeless rather than trendy. Please keep the look uncluttered—think generous negative space, balanced proportions, and just two core colours (#d0021b red and #000000 black, unless you propose better tints that still read “red & black”).

I’d like to see two or three initial concepts, then we’ll refine the strongest direction through a couple of quick revision rounds.
