I'm seeking an experienced supervisor to oversee operations at a mine site in New South Wales. The primary focus of this role is to ensure worker safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct safety inspections to identify and mitigate hazards.
- Provide progress reports on site activities.
Ideal Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience in on-site supervision in mining or construction.
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations and protocols.
- Excellent communication skills for reporting and coordinating with teams.
- Ability to identify risks and implement safety measures effectively.
The supervisor will be required to be on-site, ensuring that all safety protocols are followed and that the work is progressing according to schedule.
MUST have the following current competencies;
RIIRIS301E Apply Risk Management Processes – G1 (formally known as S1) RIIWHS301E Conduct Safety and Health Investigations – G8 (formally known as S2)
RIICOM301E Communicate Information – G9 (formally known as S3)
RIIRIS402E Carry out Risk Management Processes – G2
And be able to attend mandatory drug and alcohol testing 2 weeks prior to mobilisation. Site is in northern NSW. Works on site minimum 2 weeks starting 19 October, possible extension to three weeks.
