I need your expertise to secure a design patent that will protect a brand-new military product design. The goal is straightforward: draft and prepare a complete design patent application that meets USPTO requirements so I can move quickly to formal filing and, if viable, later extend protection internationally.
Scope of work
• Verify patentability with a focused prior-art search.
• Produce USPTO-compliant drawings and figure descriptions that capture every ornamental element of the product.
• Draft the specification, claim, and any necessary inventor declarations or assignments.
• Package the final application in ready-to-file form (electronic filing format preferred), with a brief filing checklist so I can submit it with confidence.
Acceptance criteria
• Search report summarising relevant references and a clear “go / no-go” recommendation.
• All drawings delivered in both editable source (e.g., Illustrator, AutoCAD) and USPTO-ready PDF.
• Application text free of legal or formatting defects flagged by EFS-Web validation.
• Turnaround no later than two weeks from project start.
Important context
This is a military-category product, so please keep any exchanged materials under strict confidentiality and confirm familiarity with ITAR or comparable export-control considerations if they become relevant.
If you can guide me from search through final documents while ensuring compliance with current USPTO rules, I’m ready to move ahead immediately.
