We are seeking a Microsoft Licensing & Cloud Commerce Specialist to help drive the growth of our Microsoft practice and software business. This role is ideal for a professional with deep experience in Microsoft licensing, CSP operations, software renewals, partner programs, distributor engagement, and Microsoft commercial programs.
The successful candidate will work closely with Account Executives, Microsoft teams, distributors, and strategic vendor partners to support licensing strategy, customer renewals, cloud commerce opportunities, funding programs, and sales enablement initiatives.
What You'll Do
Microsoft Licensing & Commercial Programs

Act as GG TEQ's internal licensing and cloud commerce subject matter expert.

Provide guidance on Microsoft licensing programs including CSP, Enterprise Agreements (EA), Microsoft Customer Agreement (MCA), and Microsoft 365 licensing.

Assist Account Executives in developing licensing, renewal, and cloud subscription strategies for customers.

Help customers optimize licensing investments and identify cost-saving opportunities.

Support Microsoft renewal planning and licensing lifecycle management.

CSP & Cloud Commerce Operations

Support CSP growth initiatives, subscription management, change of channel partner opportunities, and customer transitions.

Coordinate with distributor licensing teams and Microsoft representatives to facilitate customer opportunities.

Assist with Microsoft commercial motions involving Microsoft 365, Azure, Copilot, security, and productivity solutions.

Support cloud consumption and adoption initiatives from a commercial and licensing perspective.

Partner Programs & Funding

Identify Microsoft funding opportunities including ECIF, Azure migration programs, partner incentives, rebates, and enablement initiatives.

Maintain strong relationships with Microsoft Partner Development Managers, account teams, and distributor representatives.

Help maximize partner program benefits and incentive opportunities available to GG TEQ and its customers.

Required Qualifications

5+ years of experience in Microsoft licensing, CSP operations, software renewals, software asset management (SAM), cloud commerce, partner programs, distributor licensing, or Microsoft commercial programs.

Experience working within a VAR, MSP, Microsoft partner, distributor, software publisher, licensing solution provider (LSP), or similar technology organization.

Experience supporting customer renewals, licensing strategy, subscription management, or software procurement activities.

Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Ability to simplify complex licensing information for sales teams and customers.

Experience working cross-functionally with sales, vendors, distributors, and customer stakeholders.

A candidate with the experience in the some or all of the following his highly preferred: Microsoft CSP, Microsoft Customer Agreement (MCA), Microsoft 365 , Azure commercial licensing, Microsoft Partner Center
