I have two cherished photographs—one of my father and one of my grandfather—that need careful background replacement. Both images must keep every natural detail of their faces, skin texture, expressions, and clothing intact; please avoid any AI-generated re-synthesis.

The task: remove the existing backgrounds cleanly and introduce a light-toned, neutral, professional backdrop that feels timeless and elegant. Edges should be crisp with absolutely no white halos, jagged cut lines, or “cut-out” artifacts. Once the subjects are isolated, add realistic lighting and subtle shadows so the portraits read as if they were taken in a high-end studio rather than edited after the fact.

Photoshop (or equivalent layer-based software) masking, feathering, and dodge & burn skills will be key here. I also expect careful color matching so skin tones remain believable against the new setting.
