I represent a marine-sector company that now needs a full digital presence—far more than a brochure site. The goal is to deliver a polished corporate website supported by an online booking engine, a content-management system our staff can run without developers, and a secure client portal that streamlines every post-booking interaction.
Scope of work
• Design and build a modern, mobile-first corporate website that conveys our authority in the maritime industry and is easy to navigate.
• Create an end-to-end booking platform where customers can view availability in real time, select services, complete payment, and instantly receive confirmation.
• Provide a CMS with role-based access so marketing and operations teams can update pages, rates, and schedules on their own.
• Develop a logged-in client area that lets customers view upcoming reservations, download invoices, modify bookings, and contact support.
• Equip internal teams with dashboards and reporting tools that eliminate the current manual steps in our booking workflow.
• Build the solution on a scalable architecture—API-ready for future mobile apps and additional service lines.
Acceptance criteria
1. All core pages, booking flows, and the client portal must pass device and browser testing (Chrome, Safari, Edge, Firefox; desktop, tablet, mobile).
2. Page load under 3 seconds on a standard 4G connection, verified with Lighthouse.
3. Authorised staff can publish new content, add routes, and adjust pricing without code changes.
4. Customer data, payments, and admin access are protected with SSL, OWASP-aligned best practices, and 2-factor admin logins.
5. End-to-end demo on staging followed by a smooth hand-over of source code, documentation, and a brief training session.
If you can deliver both a “premium” all-inclusive build and a lean “essential” version, outline the differences in your proposal; this will help us decide how wide to cast the first phase. Mention the frameworks or CMS you recommend (e.g., Laravel, Node.js, WordPress with custom plugins) and any past marine or travel-industry platforms you have launched.
Timeline and milestone suggestions are welcome—I am ready to get started as soon as we agree on the plan.
